Blown Away Chapter 7 What did he mean she must have it too? Why did the guard say that? Why did- A loud screech interrupts my thoughts. Something is thrown at me then the cell door closes. A bag. I open it up and find and orange,bread and a canteen. I gulp down a third of the water. Who knows when I will get out of here. Then eat half my bread. It tastes so good. Especially when you haven't eaten for almost two days. My brother has powers. I get it now.They were saying I must have powers too. I wonder when he found out about them? Now I can tell someone about my powers and they will believe me! I'm so excited. But my excitement stops. What if my brother is dead. It's possible. I never really thought about it though. No Bella. Don't think about that just...think....I wonder what powers he has? Fire-speaking? Water-speaking? I only wish he was with me right now. I suddenly feel very cold. I shiver. I rub my arms trying to warm myself. The door slams open. A guard comes and grabs me. Then he gets the bag and pulls me out. "Where are we going?"I ask scared. He doesn't answer. "Where are we going?"I ask louder. "You'll see."He says. After what seems like hours we finally arrive at where we are supposed to be. My feet are sore. All I know is we are far away from the castle grounds. Another guard walks out but he wear different clothes."Hello Bella...I've been waiting to see you."He says evilly. I gulp. Blown Away Chapter 6 I sit down at the table with the king and Derek and a few other strangers. "So Bella How did you and Derek happen to .......meet each other?"The king asks. I glance at Derek and clear my voice. "The truth is...i have met him before this about 6 years ago...i saw Derek as a young kid lost in the woods..so I helped him...then he came back to see me...see I lied to him..."my cheeks are burning red" I told him my name was Amelia....he came to see me for years...we played and talked...and i knew if i told anyone they would never believe me..then when i was 14 he stopped coming."I say quickly embarrassed and sad that Derek didn't recognize me. "You...you were Amelia?"Derek asked surprised. I nod. "I stopped...because of war...I had to go fight...I...."He says stopping still shocked. After hours if talking Derek apologized for leaving and never coming back and for some reason the King wasn't very surprised. I wonder why. The king offers me a room for as long as I need one. "This way."A guard says guiding me to my room. I follow him. A lot if stairs. I walk into the hallway which is dark. I can barely see anything. I hear a door open then suddenly the guard grabs my wrist and throws me across the room. He lights some torches an as I yell for help he hits me aside the head making me fall to the ground. I whimper in pain and realize I'm in the dungeon. He gags me and ties my writs and my ankles. Then leaves closing and locking the door. I start to cry. No one will help find my brother. I'm in jail and I did nothing wrong. My parents have no idea where I am. I slump against the wall and close my eyes. I open my eyes and notice I fell asleep. I hear some voices. "Her brother Mark..he's the one."The guard says. "She must have them too."The second guard says. "What if the king finds out we put her here and then finds out what we did to her Brot-" "Shut up you fool! No one will find out!"He yells. They both walk out. My stomach growls. I'm hungry. Thirsty as well. The door opens and the two guards step in. I'm surprised. I thought they left. They yank me up. Then push me against the wall. I wince in pain. Then his fist punches my face. I cry out in pain as a tear slips down my face. "That will teach you to mess with us."He says. I fall over onto the floor and lay still. I feel weak and just want to close my eyes and sleep forever. I cry myself to sleep. This wasn't the first time.

Blown Away Chapter 5 Derek. I clear my throat. "Um....like.."I say stopping. "Yes..like prince Derek."He says. A hear sadness in his voice. "See whenever people find out I'm the prince they treat me different so they can get money or brag they met the prince. I just want to be treated like a normal guy."He says. "I'm sorry people treat you that way."I say. "Thank you.....Bella."He says. I can't stop blushing. I'm here talking I the prince. Can I pass out now or later? As I walk to the barn I hear a noise. Then a scream. I run towards where I thought the scream came from. There lay a girl. Dead. Derek ran up behind me. He kneeled down. "I...I just found her."I say shocked. What if the murderer is still lurking around? I glance around worried. He gets up and asks "Did you see who did this?" I shake my head. Not even an hour after I find the body. I'm in front on the king. In trouble. "You say your the stable girl. But the girl who was murdered was the stable girl. You could have murdered her to get her job!"The king says. "I did not! ......sir....I found her there."I say loudly. "Are you the real stable girl?"He asks. I look down then shake my head. "Sir....I didn't even want the job."I say. "Really?"The king asks. I explain my situation. Except the running away from home part. "I see."The king says. "Will you help find him?"I ask. "I'm sorry by we can't..we are already short on soldiers."The kings says. My heart drops. "Please...your majesty...please...we must find my brother."I plead. He shakes his head. Then dismisses me. As the guards escort me out Derek walk over to me. "Derek.."I say. "I wish we could help,...Bella...I wish we could."He says. Then Derek walks off.

Blown Away Chapter 4 I slowly followed the prince and his guards to the castle. Maybe, the king could help. As the prince arrives at the castle I panic. How am I supposed to get in? Then I have an idea. Luckily, there was only one guard at the gate. I wonder why. I quickly crouch beside the prince's horse and walk beside it. Hopefully,the guard doesn't see me. As we safely come into the castle grounds I sigh in relief. Then my worst fears come true. A guard spots me. "You there!"He yells running over to me. "Why aren't you in the stables?"He asks. Stables? "Uhh...I-"he cuts me off. "Go to your duties stable girl."He says coldly. I quickly run to the side of the castle and see a man guiding the prince's horse. Hopefully to the stables. Good thing thing the guard thought I was a stable girl. As I arrive at the stables I notice there aren't very many horses. At least not many as I expected. About 15 of them were in their pens. I walk to the guard. "You, are you the stable girl?"He asks. "Yes.I'm looki-". "Put this horse up and groom him." He says. Geez, these guards aren't very nice. I put the horse in an empty stall and groom him. Then a memory comes to me. "Bella, stay still,you need to listen."My father scolds. "But father,this lesson is too long."I complain. I moan. "These things will help you learn about the royals."He says. "Fine".I mutter. "Now lest start. The kings servants sleep in the lower rooms in the castle. But the stable hands and animal tenders sleep in the barn." He says. "Is that it?"I ask. He shakes his head smiling."no fair."I say. I miss my father's smile. I walk a few steps backwards as bump into something soft. I flip around. "Oh,I'm sorry."We both say at the same time. A young man stands in front of me. We smile. "Are you the stable girl?"He asks. "N-yes,yes I am."I say quickly. His eyes are a lovely shade of green. I can't help look at him. Brown hair too. "May I get to my horse?"He asks. I blush ten move aside. "What's your name?"He asks. "Bella."I say. "That's a nice name."He says. "What's yours?"I ask. "Derek."He says. I freeze.

Blown Away Chapter 3 "H-how did I get it?"I ask. "Some are born with it..some learn it..and it looks like you were born with it sweetie."the lady says. I can't speak. All this time I thought they were just myths. "Goodbye darling."the lady says her voice fading. "No! Wait!"I yell. My eyes pop open. I'm sweating. The only thought in my mind is. I have wind-speaking. I quickly ran home and burst inside. My parents looked at me puzzled. "..I have...wind-speaking."I pant. My father smiles. "Bella , don't be silly."He says. "No,Father I really do..I have wind-speaking."I say. "Darling,please stop lying. We know your upset but lying wont help."my mother replies. "No, listen I'm not lying."I say. "Bella. Stop talking nonsense."My father says getting angry. For the second time that night I run out the door. The next morning I decide I'm leaving. I need to find Mark. I sneak in the house and get my things. Then head out. Before I do, I wrap my hair up and cover it with cloth then change my outfit. I make my face look dirty, then set out towards town. Hopefully, no one will notice it's me. As I walk through town I see a large crowd gathered around some horses. It's the prince. "People of Tauren our armies need more help. We ask that one male from each family go to war." The prince says. "If one is already in war..you will send no one..but if no member of your family is in the war send him."The prince shouts. Then they ride off. At least my father shall be able to stay home. Then and idea hits me. I could follow the army into war then search for my brother Mark. Even though the chances of finding him are slim, I still will try. Because, I know he would do the same for me. I look up at the clouds and whisper"Oh, where are you Mark?"
