It's not just sun - it's rain and hail, It's arguments on freeways, Australia is not so simple, It's full of battles these days.
Returned She sat up in her metal tower, The skyline bright and blue, Remembered she'd once had this app, And people that she'd knew... It had been a year or more, Since she'd published something new, And wondered if they'd still be there, Writing #poems too...
Lost I sit inside the hospital And hold you in my hands. The overriding disinfectant Is just too much to stand. My cheeks are wet with falling tears Which fall onto your skin. You're much too small amd fragile Much too pale and thin. The nurses? They left hours ago, My 'moment' turned to hours. The room is grey and #lifeless; I binned your teddy bears and flowers. My husband went and left us both, He couldn't stand to see Me blindly looking down at you And you never looking back at me.
