The Locket Introduction: It was a Saturday evening, when Julia Chrystal decided to leave her friend Delilah's house. She waved goodbye, then started walking home, when she looked up and saw a man dressed in black. "I've been looking for you." He said. "Me?" Julia asked. "Yes." He replied. "Why me?" She asked nervously. "You dropped this." He said grinning as he gave her a beautiful locket. "But, this isn't even mine." She said as she realized the man was gone. She opened the locket and found her name engraved in it. She started on her way home again. Chapter 1: I was laying in my bed thinking about the strange man and the beautiful locket. I kept thinking it was the weird that the man said I dropped a locket that I never even owned. The thing I thought was the weirdest was that the locket had MY name engraved in it. I just couldn't stop thinking about the locket. "But what does it mean?" I said to myself. "Why is my name in a locket I haven't ever seen or owned before? I'll have to ask mom or dad tomorrow. In the meantime I need to get to bed." I said as I saw that it was 11:38 P.M. already. "Wow 11:38, I have to get up at 6 for church and I don't want to be exhausted." I thought I would get a good enough sleep until I had to wake up, but I was wrong. Instead, at like 3 A.M. I woke up from a nightmare. Can you guess what it was about? Yup, the locket. There was someone trying to tell me something, but I couldn't understand because it was echoing and fading away. So after that I couldn't go to sleep because all I could think about was the locket, the strange man, and my nightmare. I guess I fell asleep because mom had to wake. You can tell I didn't get a good sleep because mom had to wake me up and usually I'm good at waking up in the morning. Well, at least church will clear my thoughts.
