Delirium Drawing a line around my bed, A glowing barrier, just in my head? Ever encircling my delirious mind, This illness really has an axe to grind. Sleeping when light and awake when dark, Etch on my bedpost another delirious mark. I should eat fruit... but how I want cake! Sailing across insanity lake. Hot and sweaty, a stagnant rancour, The clock on the wall is my only anchor. Delirious I was, delirious I be, From delirium will I ever be free?
Step And A Half The step and a half, or step point five (step.5), appears at all major tourist sites and outdoor walks. The dimensions of the step.5 are a mathematical phenomenon. What logically appear to be a set of steps requiring the user to extend their stride by an extra half, are in fact an illogical arrangement that cannot be traversed in a logical or efficient manner. Instead, the users gait is transformed in such a way that they end up resembling either a stiff legged Pinocchio or a drunken giraffe. What is the purpose of the step and a half? Is it a pedestrian traffic calming measure? A sign that the Ministry of Silly Walks actually exists? A testing ground for potential candidates for a job as a clown? The step and a half makes no sense. Its existence only adds to the growing body of evidence that #thestruggleisreal.
