Darkness Pt.1 The darkness, that consumes a mans soul, is more prevalent in some than others. Am I one of those men? Am I? Most would probably say yes, but their opinions are absolutely minuscule compared to the extremity that is the universe. It was an ordinary Saturday afternoon. I was walking home from my favorite donut shop, "Lard Lads" when I heard a voice from behind me, "Excuse me sir, but would you like to buy some cookies?" It was a group of Girl Scouts. "Uhh, sure thing, how much?" " Ten dollars a box," the tallest one replied, "or 18 dollars for two." I reached into my wallet and found a twenty dollar bill, I'll have to go to an ATM soon, I unconsciously thought. Then I asked for two boxes of Thin Mints, the best cookies I've ever eaten. When I got home, I tore open the first box, and shoved cookies in my mouth. After about twenty, I started to get woozy. "Whoa, I need to lie down." I made it half way to the couch before collapsing. I woke up in my bed, with a man in greasy overalls looking down at me. He wore a clown mask, eternally frozen in a psychotic grin. "Hello Paul, how are you feeling?" I heard a voice say. "Wha.. Who are you!" "No, Paul, I asked how you were feeling." I realized I was tied to the bed
