A True Man A true man isn't found when they hold a door open A true man isn't found when they buy you flowers A true man isn't found when they take you on dates And a true man isn't found when they give you holidays. A true man is found in rare moments For instance A true man is found when they believe their sister is the most beautiful person they ever saw, regardless as to how she may actually look. And a true man is found when they go and get you food in your time of need. ------- So, I was remenising (because I can totally do that now I'm 18 -nah, it just feels like I am because these years feel so far away-), and I remembered when this lad (he was 17 at the time -older than me-) used to always say his sister was the most beautiful thing he'll ever lay eyes on. So, this is based off of what he told her everyday without fail, and would gladly tell anybody that he believed she was.

Fillings When you have no idea what to say you use fillers in every way. Ums and ers fill your time Just as actions fill in for a mime. Likes and whatsits are what you use Not as a way to amuse Nor as a way to confuse But as a way to allow your words To stand strong and have cords Creating a melody to ears Of those who you call your peers All whilst allowing your brain and tongue to finish their race Of who can finish at the quickest pace. -------- So, a little messy. All that rhyming took me a good few hours to do (believe it or not.)

Burn Warmth paints the walls Smoke fills their lungs They scramble for freedom All they meet are burns Loved ones lost Stood outside alone With nothing but the memories Of those now gone. The men in uniform came Water at the ready With a few sperts Their luck is out Heads, they turn Eyes they do meet As all are desperate to save the lives But nothing prevailed. The victims they watch With tear stains As they watch their lives go up in flames Their world they did build From the place they called home That was now filled of screams And images of horrors. Many had died, children and adults alike None had priority For once, there was equality That one faithful day dragged onto three Where the world outside watched in their own homes.
