Breaking The Sound Barrier - Explained You've probably heard of a vehicle ( like a concord ) 'Breaking the sound barrier' but I bet you don't know what it actually means! To break the sound barrier is to travel faster than sound travels, which is around 340 meters per second. So when you arrive at your destination everything would be silent for a few seconds after your arrival so that sound can catch up to you! I know this is nothing amazing but I still think its a cool concept and thought some of you might enjoy it Please check my other Opuss writings for subjects like possible time travel and stuff, thanks!
