RoughWater Chapter 3: I soon left the showers, "Bye Carly!" I exclaimed. "Bye Mel! Have fun tonight!" She yelled out at me. I walked out of the aquatics area and into the parking lot. Clay leaned on his old white Ford F150 pick up truck waiting for me. His blond hair was wet from the pool and slicked back out of his face. He wore jeans and a button up Hawaiian shirt. "Hey" I said smiling as I threw my sports bag in the bed on the truck. "Hi" he said lustily as he grabbed my waist and pulled me into his arms for a hug. I embraced him and then pushed him away and walked toward my door, "c'mon slick lets do this thing." He laughed and opened my door for me, "of course m'lady." I settled in "so.. Where are we going tonight?" I asked as he started the car. "There's a little cafe on the beach side that serves a mean cheeseburger, thought you'd like it." I smiled "that sounds awesome I am pretty hungry." Our school was only a couple miles from the beach which was ideal for our schools population which was mostly surfers and swimmers. We arrived at the restraunt in minutes. It really was right on the beach, the only thing separating it from the sand was a little board walk where people rollerbladed and rode bicycles. We ordered and when we got our food Clay grabbed my hand and led me to a little bench over looking the beach and the sunset. After we finished watching the sunset and eating Clay walked me out onto the pier. "I love walking here out here at night" I said as we stopped and looked out at the gentle waves. Clay looked around and slowly started taking off his shirt. "Umm Clay what are you doing?!" I exclaimed. "Oh c'mon Mel have a little fun!" He said as he jumped off the pier. "Oh my god" I screamed as I looked over the ledge to see if he was all right. He popped up laughing, "please don't tell me you've never done a pier jump before Mel!" He yelled up at me. "Uh no! Cause I'm not insane!" I yelled back. "Just try it! C'mon I'm getting cold down here without you." I climbed up the railing and looked down. Jeez it was a far way down. I closed my eyes and jumped screaming the whole way down. I splashed into the water and quickly swam up to find myself face to face with a laughing, smiling Clay. "Jeez Mel, didn't know you were such a wus." I splashed him your an ass I said as I swam back to shore. I had just stood up out of the shallows when Clay swam up behind me and pulled me back down onto the sand. I squirmed onto my back "what the hell man?" I screamed playfully. He got on top of me and pinned me down in the soft lapping of the waves. "c'mon Mel it was fun wasn't it?" I pouted playfully and turned my head away from his sight. He caressed my face and gently pulled my sight back to his, "you can't stay mad at me." He said as he leaned in and kissed me. The kiss was so sweet it took my breath away but in his moment of weakness I overpowered him and tackled him to the ground. "Haha" I laughed. " now look who's in charge." He smiled and grabbed one of my rejoicing arms, " that's alright" he said slyly "I'm into that." He pulled me to him and we started making out. I felt his hard defined abs and he slowly took off my wet shirt to feel the soft skin on my stomach. The #life tower soon announced that the beach was closed, though everyone had been off the beach for hours except us. We put our clothes on and Clay drove me home. "Tonight was fun" I said as we arrived at my house. "Yeah it was" he said smiling putting the truck in park. "Do you uh want to come in?" I asked shyly. "Though I'm sure I'll be kicking myself later for this, I don't think so tonight. You mean a lot to me Mel and i don't want to rush anything." He said. He was just so sweet, I too wasn't ready but I wasn't about to admit it. I kissed him passionately and opened the door to leave. I turned and saw Clay with a look of longing on his face. "You make it so hard not to sleep with you Melody." I laughed, "goodnight Clay, see you tomorrow at practice." He smiled and waved as he drove away. Chapter 4 coming soon! Thanks for reading!
