First Wish Of The New Year (1). I sat in silence as Mr Lee droned on about something Maths related. To be honest, I couldn't give a damn about maths, because I had something much more important on my mind. The New Years Dance. It was a dance that took place on Daftly Hill, where our school stood proudly, over looking the ocean. It was a dance that took place every New Years Eve, and it was the most magical place to be. It lasted until 10am so we could count down the end of the year. I was hyped, but I had no idea why, because nobody had asked me. And we still had about a week left. Suddenly, Mr Lee's face was about 3 inches away from my own, and I could feel his sticky, and rather disgusting smelling breath, on my hot skin. "Miss Match, would you be as so kind to share the answer with us? Or, as I asked you several minutes ago, 'are you listening to me?'" I could feel embarrassment bubble in and outside of me. I didn't know how to answer without being cheeky, so I just gulped, and pulled my face back. Then he stood up and coughed violently, and jerked back into motion, speaking about poor discipline, and bad mathematic results through out the school.
