For my son, who is seven and has autism, and is the light of my #life no matter what x If it's sunny then it will be a good day, If it's raining then it definately is not. Doors should be opened or closed, not half ajar, And a circle is worth more than a dot. My shoes must be put on right first, Because left first would just be all wrong. You can't sing carols 'till December. Because carols are not like a song. Two red lights on the school run is danger. But you can cancel them out with a green. If it's raining and there is more than two red, I can feel myself wanting to scream! My mum understands that it's normal, For me to get scared or alarmed. She tells me don't worry, it'll be ok. She keeps me safe from the harm. She explains a lot to my teachers, She explains that my routine is key. She holds me when I get upset, And she knows it's not crazy, it's just Me.
