This is just something I've noticed so idk if it's a rant or not. So I'll see people who want to see a specific artist or group or whatever, but their reason for not buying tickets could be because they didn't have anyone to go with them or they bought a ticket, then found out no one they really knew was going so they sold it, or gave it away. To me it just doesn't make sense! I know I've done that before, turned down concerts and shows just because I felt none of my friends were going and I didn't wanna go alone. But the truth is, even though it's fun to go with people you enjoy because they add to the experience of making the concert seem a lot more memorable, it's equally as fun to go by yourself. I mean, think about it. If one of your all time favorite artists/groups came to town and you knew only you listened to them and none of your other friends did and it was a once in a #lifetime opportunity, would you buy a ticket to go see them? Even if none of your friends were going? There's absolutely nothing wrong with going to a concert or show by yourself and I can't stress that enough and I wish more people realized that. I'm not saying it's not fun to go with people, of course it is! I'm just saying that it's OKAY to be alone, do things alone. If anything, you go to the show alone and what ends up happening? Most of the time you meet super cool people there anyways! That always happens to me, and I love meeting new people. I truly believe shows and concerts bring people together. But yeah that was my little rant I guess, lol.

No mother wants to hear that their daughter is depressed and suicidal. No mother wants to even tell people their daughter is having these thoughts, because never in a million years did they think they'd say "My daughter is suicidal" instead of "My daughter is a straight A student." No mom wants to keep on going to therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, repeating herself over and over, breaking down every time while still trying to keep her cool. No wife wants to get treated like they're a piece of shit from their husband who claims he loves her but in reality I don't remember the last time seeing them truly happy together. No mom wants to hear that their father has passed away and that the only way she really knows how to show her feelings is to bury it inside where no one can see.

Oblivion Sometimes oblivion can be staring you dead in the face But will still have the power to lure you in. You're aware that it's there But something inside of you is telling you to look past it, so you decide to ignore it Sometimes oblivion can be handed to you on a piece of paper You'd read the words But they'd go in one ear and right out the other All because you knew it was wrong, and still didn't listen And sometimes, Oblivion can be that mysterious type, the guy with long Jesus hair who looks like he hasn't showered and he probably either skates or smokes, both if you're lucky And he will seem like the most interesting guy alive to you. And you would fall for it, Every Single Time. That's the tricky part about oblivion. You know it's there. But you don't wanna believe it.
