Runaway. 4 I awoke to Azula barking fiercely at someone. I couldn't see my eyes were blurry. So I rubbed them clear and saw a boy. I hastily stood up and demanded his name. The stranger replied "I'm Kyle." But before I could ask why he was here, Kyle asked me a question. "Who are you?" I pondered telling him the truth or a lie. But I figured I don't know anyone here so why not. "I'm Auguste, and why are you here Kyle?" "Well Auguste I could've thought to ask you the same." "I figured since this house is abandoned no one would mind me crashing here for awhile." "I'm gonna have to ask you to leave Auguste." "Why?!" I yelled. Azula started barking at Kyle. "Woah. Will she bite me?" "I don't know but we can find out if you make me leave." i replied and crossed my arms. Kyle thought this over and agreed to let Me stay for another day or two. "Thanks." I said. And watched as he unlocked the front, turned around smirked at me and left.
Runaway. 3 The sound quickly stopped and it became unnaturally quiet. I silently opened the pantry door and glanced around. I couldn't see a thing, it was pitch black. Then out of nowhere the noise was approaching me faster and faster like a racecar with no driver. BAM! Something tackled me and i fell on to the floor and it barked. Barked? It was a dog. I started laughing hysterically. Wow I must be getting really paranoid. I was scared out of my wits because of a harmless Dalmation. I gently pushed the dog off me and felt its neck for a tag. Nothing. " I guess this is your house, well do you mind if I stay here for a bit?" I asked the dog. She looked at me and barked loudly. "I take that as a yes" I whispered while I rubbed her head. "I think I will call you Azula." Azula wagged her tail in agreement. I unzipped my pack and pulled out my blanket and laid it on the living room rug. I collapsed onto the make shift bed and snuggled up next to Azula and fell into a deep sleep. "Maybe things are turning around for me." I thought. Little did I know that it was going to get much, much worse.

Runaway. 2 I walked into a exhausted town. It had a large city hall right smack in the middle of the town square. Since I arrived in the middle of the night there was no one out. There was a long road leading off to a small broken down house that towered over the whole establishment. It looked abandoned and super old. I sauntered down the freshly paved road and up the creaky stairs of the house. It was a two story house that was a amazing sight at one time but now it just looked pathetic. The windows were all shattered and the paint was peeling off the wood. When I tried to open the door it wouldn't budge so I pulled harder and harder until my hand slipped of the handle and I fell backwards landing hard on my butt. "God, can this night get any better?" I muttered under my breath. I decided to sneak in the window. I carefully crawled through the broken glass and sharp wood and tumbled onto to the cold wood floor in the house. Suddenly I heard a noise almost like a person running up the stairs. I knew not to shout "hello?" like in the movies cause that person always dies. So I slinked to the kitchen and hid in the pantry. I heard it again except louder and closer. I held my breath and awaited my fate.
