A Troubled Friendship (chapter 2) She realised I was looking at her. Ellie's eyes filled with tears and she ran out of my room. I figured she needed to be alone. I started on my homework to take my mind off it. It didn't work. I tried to watch T.V but that didn't work either. I know I'll go see Sam. He always finds a way to cheer me up. I hopped in my car to go to his house. I knocked on the door. Sam's seven year old sister answered the door. "Hi Charlie!" she giggled. "Hi Mandy!" I replied stepping into the house, " Why are you so giggly?" "Because I'm watching a really funny film!" she burst out laughing. Mandy is one weird kid. But she awesome never the less. I made my way into the living room. I saw Mrs Taylor. " Hi Charlie!" she said, " Sam is in his room," "Thanks!" I went into the hallway And up the stairs and into Sam's bedroom. " I wasn't expecting a visitor!" he said. "Hi Sam!" I said. I sat on his sofa. " What's wrong?" he asked. " Ellie has been acting weirdly lately and I cant stop worrying!" I replied. He took my hand. " Don't worry," he said," She's an 18 year old girl. Most likely boy trouble!" " Thanks!" I said half appreciation, half giggle," You always know what to say." I kissed on the cheek then left.
