New Girl Catherine's POV I walked off the bus. I was the new girl, just joining a new high school, at the age of 18. I walked towards the door of the school and looked around. I saw groups of people. The mean populars, the nice populars, the loners, the nerds, the skaters, and the jocks. I walked inside entirely or of place. When I walked in everyone turned and stared at me and started murmuring. Judging me. I kept walking, and all the sudden I got tripped by a mean popular girl on purpose, and ran into the cutest guy in the room! I fell into him and all my books went flying. My entire face went red and everyone started laughing at me except the boy I ran into. He held his hand out to help me up and everyone watched dumbfounded. I took his hand and he helped pull me up. I stared at him just as stupefied as everyone else. I looked at him and said thanks. "No problem" He said as he gave me my books. "I'm Jake," he said "I'm C-Catherine" I said quietly. "Chin up, just be yourself and it'll all work out," Jake said as he walked to hide class. When he turned the corner the mean popular girl formed a circle around me and started kicking me and saying, "Jake is our guy," "Your so Done" "If Jake likes you more than me, good luck living though high school" they were all kicking me yelling all those words When Jake turned back around an looked at all the girls and watch them beat me up. I was laying on the ground in pain while they all stomped on me and punched me. When they saw Jake, they all stopped. I stayed on the floor. All the girls backed away as Jake helped me get up and put his arm around my shoulder to help me get to the nurse. All the girls watched with shocked faces. I hobbled to the nurses office with his arm around my shoulder. "I'm really sorry. Those girls are jerks," Jake said to me. " Yeah, found that part out fast," I said. We made it to the office and the nurse looked at my legs with wide eyes. I realized they were bruised all over. They gave me some ice and told me to go home for the day. Jake said goodbye and gave me his number. I held it in my hand and stared at it then waved goodbye and walked to my Moms car to go home.

Gone 6 Skye's POV I sat on the back of Blake's bike as I saw my house. Burnt down. Police. Ambulance. My mind flashed backwards. My birth parents, I was 3. The house was on fire. People shooting at us. They threw me out the door and let the house collapse on them. The flashback ended and I felt like everything paused for a moment when I got off my bike. I walked towards the door shakily and a cop stopped me. I told them I was their daughter and he said I needed to go back to the adoption agency. I stood still not getting into his car. I looked back at Blake, who was stand beside his bike staring blankly at my house. I walked over to him slowly. "Thank you. For everything. Nobody else has ever cared except you. Yet now I may never see you again," I said softly looking in his eyes. Blake said, "It will be OK." I heard a gunshot and then people came out from behind the house. My leg got shot and I fell to the ground with my heart pounding. Blake picked me up and ran to the mans car. The last thing I remember is Blake placing me in a seat next to him in the car, then the world went black. I woke up in a hospital, tubes connected to me and an oxygen mask on me. The doctor said I had a few major burns and cuts. But they got the bullet out of my leg, but it was still not fully healed yet. The doctor gave me a bouquet of tulips. I read the card, it said "Skye, I know this is a bad time. I love you and I hope your ok. I will be at the hospital with you at 6 pm today. Love-Blake" I took in the words as I fell asleep, star struck. Blake's POV I walked into Skye's hospital room at 6. She was asleep, holding the flowers I left for her. I looked at her silently, she was laying on her side, her skin was pale. She woke up and looked at me. "I read your note." She said, "and I l-love you too," she spoke in a quiet voice. The doctor brought her grandparents into the room next door to talk about a surgery. I heard them talking. They couldn't afford the only surgery that could save her #life. I opened my wallet and scanned through the emergency money my rich parents gave me. I walked into the room and gave the doctor my wallet. "Count it up. That is just enough money to pay for the entire surgery. Take it," I said, looking straight at the doctor. He said it would cover it. I walked back into Skye's room with him. We looked at each other. We knew there was a chance we would never see each other again.

Gone 5 Skye's POV My knees shook. Suddenly Chase grabbed me from behind and sat down in a chair, holding me in place on his lap as he took off his pants. He held me there for a minute and stood up, still holding me to his body. He shoved me into a bed in the corner of the room and before I could run he dived on top of me. I laid on the bed and felt him on top of me and I tried to squirm but held me down. He kissed me on the cheek, lips, and forehead. Chase looked into my eyes with a smug look on his face. He grabbed my bra straps. My eyes widened and I panicked trying to squirm away but he wouldn't let me. He pulled my bra off and then pulled off my underwear. My eyes watered and I began to cry. "PLEASE JUST STOP! I will do anything please please just STOP!" I yelled, with tears running down my face. Chase started at me still laying on me and put my bra and underwear back on me, and gave me my T-shirt and shorts. I shivered and he lunged at me, pushing me against the wall kissing me and stripping me again. He put his arms around my abdomen and he kept kissing me harder than ever, tongue touching mine and I squirmed. Suddenly I heard the door get kicked down and Chase chained me to a pipe on the wall and walked up to Blake, standing in the doorframe. Blake looked at me and then glared at Chase. "Your never getting her back. I could spend all night with her. She is smoking," Chase said and he whistled and winked at me. I glared at him. Blake's POV I kicked the door down. It was my last plan. I saw a teen in only his boxers and Skye, In just her bra and underwear, chained on a pipe so she couldn't move. The teen walked up to me and said some things. I kinda blocked it out with my own thoughts. Right when I saw him pushing Skye against the walk forcing a kiss upon her, I knew my plan. I looked at her again, she was crying and looking at the floor. Her face looked pale, she looked sad and hopeless. I wasn't leaving without her. I punched the guy in the face and ran over to Skye and unchained her with the tools I brought. The teen recovered and pushed her against the wall, his hand on her bra shoving her against the wall. He kicked me and kissed her again. I kicked him harder than I ever had before, and he fell down on the floor and I gave Skye her shirt and shorts. She threw them on and I ran, pulling her along behind me and jumped onto my bike and she held on behind me. She didn't speak a word as I pulled up to the address she gave me. It was a crime scene.

Gone 4 Skye's POV I stood shaky tied in ropes as I watched Blake run in. Why did he care is what I wondered as we made eye contact. I watched him start to pull a knife out of his pocket as the man gripping my arm tightly said, "You hurt me, I hurt the girl." I stood shaking, not knowing if I could take any more. He dragged me away as Blake stood still afraid to hit him because he didn't want to hurt me. I heard Blake yell, "I won't leave you. I will find something out." I listened to his words carefully and realized that he crew. He truly cared. He dragged me into a bedroom and a teen, about my age stood in the room shirtless. I turned away. The man put me down and said, "Here she is boss, the girl you wanted 'alone time' with. Now pay up the 500." The teen gave him 5 100 dollar bills and the man dropped me on the floor and walked out. I laid on the ground still tied up and mouth covered. The teen ripped the duck tape off my mouth and untied me. Before I could run he handcuffed my hands behind my back and my feet together and smirked. "Hello there, I'm Chase." He said, uncomfortably close to me. I then replied, "why am I here and what do you want with me." "Simple," He said, " I want alone time with you if you know what I mean. I've done a lot of research on you Skye. I've been watching you since you were 14. Now we are both 18. I can finally get what I want now." Chase said in a smug way as he pushed me into a corner of the wall. I squirmed uncomfortably. He grabbed my T-shirt and pulled it over my head as he pushed against my body. He pulled my shorts down and exposed me. I stood in a corner with my feet and hands chained with only my underwear and bra covering my body. He pushed closer to me, his nose was nearly touched mine as he put his hands around my hips and I couldn't do anything to end it. He moved in closer and forced our lips to touch, my head tilted back he was kissing me so hard, I tried to move my head but he held it firmly in place and touched his tongue with mine and finally let go and I stood shakily in a corner. I was too weak from his workers beating me. I couldn't run from what he was going to do to me.

Gone 3 Blake's POV We stood up when the alarm ended, and we were sent home early. I sat in the back of the bus. Thinking. I knew that Skye wasn't ok. I don't care what they tell me. Lies. Sympathy. Fake. I got off at my stop and read the note on my garage door. It read, "Work trip will be back in 3 days garage password is 1234 help yourself to food, love mom and dad." This was the note they left me every day. I walked inside and flicked on the TV and looked at the news story. I listened as the news played this story, "Skye Jordan of Tajia high school was kidnapped today at 2 pm. She was last seen being tied up and loaded into a green truck going west from ridgewood. I live in ridgewood. I got on my bike and pedaled west. I got towards the highway and went into the bike lane. That's when I saw the green truck. I followed it for about 30 minutes when it stopped in front of an old eerie building and a stopped and pushed my bike behind a bush and I peered over watching. I saw them pull Skye out tied up, mouth covered,and bruised all over. I watched them shove her inside and looked at her eyes. They were teary and large, but still the same beautiful blue eyes. As the door was closing, I ran inside and stood with the giant man looming over me, holding Skye's arm tightly and she looked at me. Her eyes were watering,she looked happy but confused as to why I cared. The man threw her onto the floor and chained her to a railing on the stairs. I looked at her cringing in pain on the ground and then I looked at him, with a smug look on his face. "Every time you try to hurt me, I hurt the girl," He said with a deep voice. I stood still not knowing what to do. I watched him drag her up the stairs. She was gone.
