The Serum The serum is a wonder drug created by a company called ingenica, it was seized by the world government as it was deemed too dangerous be left in a corporations control. The world government, decided that the only responsible thing to do was sell the drug to the masses, The drugs nickname on the street is reset, because that's what it does it resets you! Your health, your youth, your vitality it can give it all back to you, but there is a catch the government charges £100,000 credits a dose so unless you are very rich you can't get it. This is done by the ruling class to make sure it is kept away from the middle and lower classes. This happened almost 100 years ago and society has changed a lot in that time, medical doctors are now viewed as pariahs by the rich and saviours by the poor. If you have and can afford the serum you don't need doctors, but there is another catch, the serums effects last roughly ten years! After that you start aging again, and at a faster rate than before... There are those however that know the truth, a chemist who originally created the original reset serum knows that the government has programmed in the time limit, and that with enough work it could be removed! Her name is Kinsey Brock and she is number one on the GBI's most wanted list, her knowledge could end the global monopoly that the government has on the serum. She has worked for over 100 years to find the cure as her blood carries a trace amount of the original serum, her time is running out, but she has a plan. She has been working to recreate the original serum and she is close! When she has a working formula she plans to release it on the Internet, she knows a group of hackers that will make sure it reaches the public then the public will do the rest! There is only one problem, the GBI are hot on her heels and if they catch her, everything she has sacrificed will be for nothing, they will destroy her research and execute her as a traitor. Her only hope lies with a GBI agent who suspects the truth and she hopes will help her..

Tempus Fugit Time! Why is it the one thing that no-one has enough of? The rich, the poor. The sick and the healthy. Time is the universal constant that rules everyone's #life regardless of who you are!! We constantly use phrases like we haven't got the time or time has flown, is it that time has accelerated! Somehow i dont think so, so it must be that we have just lost track of time due to our limited attention span!

A Random Thought On A Bus Journey This story was inspired by a bus journey where i thought of the word Newark, then I started thinking....... In 2098, The historical floods that inspired the bible story return. During the ensuing chaos, one group of people called the Providers emerged as an organization that was preparing to institute a new-world order. They assembled a pair of embryos of each genus, of every species know to man. These were stored in a gene-bank and were catalogued using a super-computer called Father. This gene-bank was also encoded with a set of human D-N-A; it was the basic template for a new Adam and Eve. After this, the ‘bank’ as it would come to be known, was installed in an orbital space platform. Here it would survive the latest disaster that the earth would suffer. A small team, of only seventy-five people supported the station. However the disaster on the planet below was of biblical proportions. It was preceded by an extraordinary amount of solar flare activity. This station’s power system was solar in nature, because of this; it caused the space station’s main power system to malfunction. The platform crashed to Earth approximately three years after the floods occurred. No one knows how and no one can remember why it couldn’t be repaired. The surviving engineers managed to make the platform float. They made it do this just above the surface of the water. They then began to expand the platform, as they did this time flowed on and on, and soon almost one hundred years had passed. Then another hundred, and then another and another, until soon a floating platform had become a floating city, with a thousand years of history, and a thousand years of culture. The survivors of the disaster had had children, who had had even more children and soon, there was an extremely large population. All of these people needed home homes to live in, so the platform was expanded. It soon encompassed half the globe and with its high technology the people living in this city wanted for nothing… Or did they? The world was called Earth. The City, It was called Newark

Vampire? It always amazes me to see what people make of the word vampire?? Most peole imagine the stories by Bram Stoker or Anne Rice or the latest offering by Charline Harris. Many people think that they hate sunlight, they hate crosses and if you sprinkle them with a liberal dose of holy water they will melt!!! People couldn't imagine the truth and to be honest I shudder to tell the tale. Most people will hate this story especially if they are ardent fans of what has become a genre in horror stories. My current name is Sam, I am a count, but I don't live in a creepy old castle, I live in a small townhouse in London. I am human but a new strain, the next evolution you might say, but I wouldn't label myself as special merely someone who has been around a while. How old am I? How rude! I would never ask someone as myself my age. I will simply say that I was just starting my 20th year, when I realized that I was different. How long ago was that? The Romans were young, so were the Vikings, you could say that I have been alive since then. I cannot give you a certain date because most of your dates had yet to begin. Am I undead? Another rude question! Of course I am not, here feel my heart, it beats the same as yours to the same time and rhythm. Do I like sunlight, another Stoker related question, I find these myths about my kind tedious. Yes I love sunlight, I especially love getting a good tan. What am I? What do you think I am? I'm a vampire. How many more of my kind are there? At the last count approximately one million vampires exist, they vary in age and are descended from my family line. Every so many generations I update my family tree, although the geneology sites I used on the Internet often think I am mad!! The Internet, such a marvelous thing!!! It enlightens and corrupts at the same time, you could say that it is a revolution, similar to radio or even printed newspapers, personally. I see it as a drug that entraps people. I see disbelief on your face, you doubt my words and indeed my sincerity, this is understandable, you are young and in the morning of your #life, while I am old and ready for night to fall. Soon I will sleep forever, comforted by my memories and the souls I have ushered into the next existence. Do I believe in souls?? A curious question, of course I do! I also believe in God, for only he or she in their sense of irony could have inflicted this gift on me all those years ago. I am sure that when I sleep I see him sitting in a chair smiling at me, telling me that it will soon be time to join him, but that is a thought for another time, and certainly another place.
