Writing from the Heart Composed 9th January 2016 To ease the soul within its case Needs nourishment from every place To see a greeting upon a face Provides delight with sweet embrace To cherish each and every day Provide yourself with time to play Dreams provided where you lay Rested thoughts can guide your day Desire powers your hopes and goal Keeping at bay from feeling low With purpose only forward go To keep the soul being whole Adversity can make you strong Variety helps the day along Merriment with laughter and song Finding home where you belong The soul can break with broken heart But mend it can take every part Gain experiences to restart For living is a work of art

Time To Declutter If your heart goes all a flutter If someone says declutter You know that you need order If you've become a Hoarder Now there may be a reason If you hold on to each season Your encouraged to mix and match Reuse your previous batch This all may well be good Yes recycle as you should But soon there comes a time When you try to save a dime That you run right out of space Yes this makes me red of face When you see how much you got Boxed high as a job lot A new carpet has me packing Oh the willpower simply lacking I need my lovely stuff But my floorboards had enough It will happen in one day House recarpeted yes hurray But we have to play reshuffle Oh the groans I try to muffle Yes I know it will look grand Fresh and clean where I stand It's the moving that I'm hating With the chaos it's creating So I will have to choose What to keep and what to lose For charity, or to sell Oh the decision hell Cause I know it will take ages To create harmony in stages To have it all just right My home a tidy sight So forward thinking now I take Good Feng shui I hope to make So the energy will flow And my peace of mind will grow So I hope that you will heed With the suggestions that I seed To let it go and just release You need space to make your peace Possessions can posess you They can even obsess you To make you think of lack Maybe keeping you back As the past it seems to follow Leaving marks that leave you hollow An empty space to fill Blocked emotions, standing still So take my hand and walk Lets solve it as we talk Lets see what you really need New directions to succeed.

They can be crushed, stewed or simmered Diced, chopped, sliced, purée, But what ever way their eaten They flavour has a way To make your mouth tingle There is a real deal This humble ingredient Can transform any meal We the British We put it on every thing With sauce we love food more "Please pass the ketchup" we sing

The Alphabet Tis from ancient times when we first spoke The alphabet was needed by every day folk Some say the spider web inspired its design Over the centuries it became more refined For without its structure written thought would crumble Just for the elite not the wretched and the humble No knowledge or history, or evolution of learnt Words would of perished with the villages that had burnt We' still be gibbering mumbling grunting Barbaric, violent, gathering and hunting Over time it became available to the masses Then compulsory, for all learners in the classes In school we would it repeat it say it like a parrot Then they would grade us depending on our merit Who decided the order no one really knows When we were young we would wear it on our clothes, In library's we catalogue so taking full control Creating indexes order is the goal The English alphabet consists of 26 letters All of them necessary none worse none betters Something so important that we truly take for granted Is part of our evolution of humankind implanted So next time you hear a child recite and know their abc Smile for its development has helped to nurture thee
