Weather Girl There is always a girl you see around. She has a smile on her face, polite to everyone. She is the 'agony aunt', you could say; the one all the others drown their sorrows on. Because she is a 'good listener', so they say. Not once do they thank her for listening, or for being so kind. Without question she would help someone in need, be the shoulder to cry on. She would make everyones day a little easier, help them to continue on. But, as the day continues on, she fights her own battles at night. She doesn't have many friends, her family say she is too mature for them all. Her only two friends moved away to a distant land and left her wounded, not by their own choice, of course. So she is alone in her wars, with no one to tell her problems to. They say she is a ray of sunshine when really, she is a cloud of rain. She cries herself to sleep when the worries and struggles overtake her, and sometimes, she stays at home for a little while. Yet, when she is finally able to battle her way out of the black hole of her own despair, once she tries to stand up on her own two feet again and go outside, Who greets her and welcomes her home? The people she helped before? The girls she gave advice to? No. They carry on; they sometimes don't even notice she's gone. And what does this girl earn from this natural kindness inside of her? The ability she has to stop the rain? Nothing. Which means only one thing. The cycle is forever to continue.
