Yet, there remained two pups, their fur still a mix of brown, for they were still to you to have received there fur color. A chill of cold air entered from the entrance of the den. With it, brought the cries and howls of the distant wolves far north. one of the pups let out a loud squeak, while the other just muzzled itself closer into the mother wolf's warm belly fur. "Don't worry my loves, I will protect you..." she murmured softly into their ears as she stared out at the blackened sky.
