If Only Hopes are high around the world as clocks begin to chime, From Alaska down to Sydney they announce a different time. In London it’s 11am on the 11th of November, And a Nation stands in silence as together they remember. And at this time around the world the battlefields stand still, As soldiers all lay down their arms and vow no more to kill.
