Happiness hidden behind insults, feelings disguised behind words. Looking back on it now, this year has been a blur. We infested each other's lives like drugs do to a fiend. Darkness everywhere yet each others light beamed. Beamed to one another, like starlight connecting to a past #life. Only time I thought I'd get cut would be by a sharp knife. Cuts of happiness , cuts of joys, cuts of sadness and anger too, I'm the drug in your veins, a habit you can't move. You can try to go cold turkey, shake it, kick it. In the depths of your mind, I'll be there, living. Maybe not everyday, it might be a song, or even out for dinner. The attention we got, the attention we gave, all these memories to take to our grave.
