Love Hurts Everyone knows the story of Romeo and Juliet. He, a Montague left to become heir to a title he’d rather not have. Her, a Capulet destined to be a trophy, something desired. How did it go again? Two households both alike in dignity. Though dignity was not something they had to earn, it was passed down, generation upon generation a fragile sheet of glass. Both heir would rather let it shatter as they ran forward to each others welcoming arms. Love destined for a dark turn under bloodshed skies. Doth with their death bury their parents strife. Passionate burning love, the kind that brushes many eyelids with crystal water and rubs salt on to pulsating bloody organs. Even without watching a performance the epic tale of death and damsels capturing the attention of many a wandering eye. You know the story of Romeo and Juliet well don't you? This is nothing like it. This is ugly love, nasty love and far from true love. Grunge and grit scraped from the darkest bowels of your heart. No poison and swords, it's rough cut ravaging and bloody brilliant. It's beautiful and battered and no one could even love it the same way. It's never having loved, always loving and about to love. Cruel hands of fate scratching away at fragile shards until the card house collapses. Bending at the scaffolding in hopes that it will take the bitter tang of metal from your own mouth. It's spitting iron and screaming red. What even is love? love lʌv/Submit noun 1. a strong feeling of affection. "babies fill parents with intense feelings of love" synonyms: deep affection, fondness, tenderness, warmth, intimacy, attachment, endearment; It's being attached to something so much it burns like a branding iron. Needles knitting you together and fraying your ends, snapping your binds. Ripping you from your #life. Intimacy like an icy plunge of cold water, chilling your bones and calming your heart , reigning control of a tsunami thundering in your skull. Fondness, a soft spot for someone and you can't tell if it's from the bruises they leave on you or the melting of your resolve. 2. a great interest and pleasure in something. "his love for football" synonyms: liking, weakness, partiality, bent, leaning, proclivity, inclination, disposition Love is a weakness, better to not have loved and still have half a mind to continue. To stop yourself from getting in a position that love can only get you that vulnerable. 1. feel deep affection for (someone). "do you love me?" synonyms: be in love with, be infatuated with, be smitten with, be besotted with, be passionate about; l “Do you love me?” “Yes of course I do” Like its obvious that the rocks waiting won't shipwreck you in the end. Pretending your torch will keep the nasty things at bay when you know that at some point, you'll just run out of fuel. “I Love You” Words shared but everyone but half the time never once spilling from their lips. Love is a figment of imagination. Those words aren't so don't pretend you can seem them when you don't. Don't feel obligated to tell everyone them in emptiness. Sometimes saying nothing is better. Sometimes it makes it worse. I'm not bitter about love in any way shape or form. I'm in love with it. And isn't that just beautiful. People will always get hurt whether it's from loving too much or being loved too little. Just hold on to your loved ones while you can because love doesn't just hurt. It kills. So love like a flame and live like you're a phoenix. We all fall to ashes in the end any way. Might as well die beautifully in passionate bonfires. Because you only get one shot. Love hurts. Deal with it
