Summer It was a usual summers day, And in the warmth we lay, The sun was up, I had coffee in my cup, And nothing could take this away. The towels were laid down on the beaches, And we enjoyed our fresh juicy peaches, We went for a swim, Then we ran back in, And no one could take me away from him. When night time came the fire was lit, And around it in a circle we would all sit. The embers were bright, On this summers night, And in his arms he held me in tight.
