Pregnancy You plan for a baby Such an exciting time A new adventure Making you give up the wine Your breast become sore The pain is so bad Putting on a bra Just makes you feel sad This is before A test is even done You just no It doesnt feel fun You do the test and see the two lines The joy you feel is so very unreal Then comes the sickness And the bad head Feeling so nausious Sickness straight from out of bed This isnt fun How could this be A constant hangover Is what it feels like to me Pregnancy in TV Looks like a good thing Smiling and laughing Could even say glowing The toilet becomes Your new best friend Weeing for england And being sick no end The bloating apears Along with trapped wind Feeling uncomfortable How have i syned Cramps in your pelvis Is yet to come Like a stabbing pain Right by your front bum Backache begins And im still not showing How is it Im the only one not glowing Tiredness gets you Right from the start Not letting it beat you Becomes a great art Your skin becomes itchy Not great i must say Scratching your whole body All through the day The sickness subsides And you begin to eat But wait a minute Whats happening to my feet Your ankles get swollen Your feet begin to throb How can this happen When will this all stop Brushing your teeth That are usually good Now when you brush them Your spitting out blood All of these symptoms Were happening to me I was only pregnant How could that be Just when you think The worse has all gone You realise much worse Is yet to come Blood vessles expoding Although not painful to me The look of the vessles Were not good to see Nose bleeds then started Where ever i would be Leaving red stains All over my knee Trying to sleep Becomes a big pain Not least because Of my varracus veins Tossing and turning Like a dumper truck Realising quite regulary In bed i was stuck Then came the leg cramps Painful as can be Toes stretched out like spiders legs And there was a screaming me Feet in the air Screaming in pain Unable to get out And stamp out the pain All of the time Feeling so hot Unable to cool down Surely thats the lot Dizziness comes Feeling so faint Falling for nothing This is not great Heartburn is something Quite common to me But luckily through pregnancy This left me be The worse of the lot Was yet to come The haemorrhoids Bringing pain to my bum This was a pain I couldnt take lightly Making me quirm And making me squeeze tightly Not long left Til it comes to an end Maybe then Ill be able to bend Feeling angry Almost every day And tears come streaming What can i say Pregnancy is hard Pregnancy is painful Nine months or torture Then uv to get playful The baby arrives Pregnancy is forgotten Until you see the stretchmarks All over you bottom
