The Misfits Of New Orleans - Part 2 Oh, you thought Joey died right? No, of course not. Joey and some minor injuries from that accident that night, a couple of scratches and bruises. But when he got home after surviving the patronising hospital nurses he walked in to find his mother sat by a closed suitcase. "Joseph, we need to talk." She said in a gentle tone. Joey sniggered. "I don't want to talk about it okay. Just let me sleep." Joey began to approach the bed his mother was sat on and began to pull the covers up when his mother grabbed his arm firmly. "Mom." "You're not sleeping here tonight." "But wher--" Before he could even finish his sentence Joey was grabbed by his shoulder and pulled into the arms of two muscular men. He couldn't move and he didn't want to try and struggle. The last thing he heard his mother say was nothing. She said absolutely nothing. Still being dragged and tossed around two bodybuilder-like men, Joey shouted "How could you do this Mom!" Knowing that she wasn't going to hear him. A loud thump occurred as Joey felt a sort of carpeted surface make contact with his skin. Where was he? It came to him when he heard the piercing noises of screeching tires. He was in the trunk of a car. He had been taken by two complete strangers and thrown into the back of a car. He began to move his head upwards to see the word NOMTC. And at that moment, he knew exactly where he was going and he didn't like it one bit. The car journey was rough. No seatbelt to keep him upright, no comforting heated seats and loud heavy metal music blasting into his eardrums for a good hour and a half. He was in living hell. Yes, Joey knew actions had consequences but he would have never have thought that being basically kidnapped and tortured with the over enthusiastic sounds of Metallica would be his way to completely lose it. He just lay in the back of the car trying to block out the billions of voices in his head telling him he deserved it, telling him he was nothing but a misfit, telling him he was nothing. He didn't even know what to think of his own mother right now. Why would she send him to NOMTC? What did he do to her to deserve this? It was one of those unforgettable moments that are unforgettable for the wrong reasons.
