On Being A Hero 6 years old and a dreamer "What do you want to be when you grow up son? A firefighter? An astronaut?" A marine I'd say. How many 6 year olds really want that? To be shot at knowing death could comes a bit sooner. "Now why would you want to do that son?" I wanted to be a hero I wanted to save & protect. A hero Today when I am asked I give a fancy name I'll show you a degree Has anything thing changed? I'd like to think its all the same All around us Notions of ideas & heroes Achilles, Superman Batman, Heracles Strong McSteamy 6 pack Is it hard to live up to that If I get a 6 pack Am I a hero? 6 year old hoping to have abs of his own. Dreaming of abs to be McSteamy Just to reach my dream Save the girl Save the world Then and only Will you be loved Understand all heroes are dreamy Understand you need to be smart Or strong Handsome Check all of the above then apply Experience preferred But not needed Good looks required You are too fat You are too small You are too ugly Why do you want to be a hero?
