Regret In The Past Walking down a lonely aisle I hear my name I walk faster; Trying to run away But all in vain. The past is the past The past is the truth And it cannot be changed Why bother running away from it When it all will be in vain? Do not run Do not hide Because if you do When it finds you You'll feel guilty inside Instead embrace it And when you do The past won't haunt you Because it can't When there is no regret in the past And you never know One day in your #life It might come back During your harsher times During your brightest moments It will come to teach.
