Big Book Of Everything Mars Mars is a world of cold deserts. Mars has an atmosphere so thick water can't exist there. Mars even has seasons,polar ice caps, volcanoes,canons,and even its own weather. Their is even signs of ancient floods and water on Mars. The Tylosaur The Tylosaur is a 29 foot long underwater predetor. It was the unchallenged ruler of the ocean during the cretaceous period. It went extinct by the same force that killed the dinosaurs. The Tylosaur had a long nose that could sniff out prey in even the darkest waters. As soon as it smelled its prey, its nerves automaticaly triggered a big bite out of the prey. It ripped victims to shreds with its extremely large and powerful teeth and strong bites. Japan is a neat place. Ligers Ligers are an unnatural cross between a tiger and a lion. Ligers are rare because tigers like to be alone and lions like to be in groups. So how are ligers breeded?The answer is that ligers are breeded by puttion a lion and a tiger in captivity together. Most scientists think that lighers should not be breeded because they are weaker than they should be. Their unnatural genetic code gives them weak hearts,lungs,and blindness or deafness. Some people breed ligers to sell. People like to buy ligers because they are odd. Pez Museum At the PEZ museum there is over 675 different types of PEZ, including the rare pineapple with sunglasses PEZ.At the museum there is everything from Garfield to Santa Claus, and more. This yummy treat was invented in 1927 by the Austrian candy executive Eduard Haas. The candy started out as peppermint bricks. In fact PEZ is an abbreviation for the word meaning peppermint in German. PEZ was at first labeled a way for people to try to quit smoking. Venus Venus is a intensely hot and dim planet. It is the second planet from the sun. Venus is similar to the size and structure of Earth. The temperatures on Venus are hot enough to melt lead. Females are about half of the males(in size).The panther chameleon only lives on the island of Madagascar and has been introduced to 2 other small islands. Gray Bamboo Lemur The gray bamboo lemur eats mostly bamboo shoots. It also eats the leaves and other parts of the plant. A bamboo lemur runs like a cat and swims like a dog. They also leap from tree to tree to travel through the rain forests they live in. They have different calls to communicate over small and large distances.lemurs have special teeth on their lower jaws they use to groom their fur.When startled these lemurs drop to the ground and freezes. Bamboo Bamboo is a very interesting plant. There is a number of reasons many people like it. Bamboo is also very hard and durable. People say that one day bamboo may replace wood. If this were to happen,bamboo would be much more valuable and popular. Bamboo grows faster than wood and is stronger than wood. So why don't we replace wood with bamboo? By day mercury is super heated but by night it is super cold. The temperature can vary thousands of degrees each day.
