The Shipwreck Bob and his crew were sailing peacefully through the Bahamas, giving tours. After everyone was on board they set sail into deeper waters. They were heading into shark territory's, so no one was allowed to take a swim. At least not without a warning anyway. If they were going to sail they were going to sail FAST! They would maintain a speed of 120 mph at all times. If they did they could sail the Bahamas and back to where they started in 7 days. 2 days into the journey a child was swimming in the pool, while the parent was watching from the side making sure the child wasn't drowning. Suddenly the ship lurched to the side. They heard a Loud BOOM and suddenly felt the ship sinking. Children and women went on the #lifeboats, while the men started swimming to the nearest island. The #lifeboats picked up as many people as possible. Two were left behind. The #life boats would come back for them sooner or later. Until then the men had to survive on the island, all alone except for each other. Mark was immensely hungry. "Have you found some coconuts yet Bob?" "If I did why would I give YOU any?" Bob retorted. "Hmmmmm, maybe because we are on an island all alone, and you need my architectural intellect" Mark replied cunningly. "Fine here you go" Bob grumbled as he handed Mark half a coconut he had found. "Thank you" Mark said happily. Mark is a man in his 20's with red hair and freckles. He had brown eyes and brown skin. He was from America and worked as an architect. Bob is a man with black hair, glasses which he had managed to clutch on to during the shipwreck. He was a tough man, who looked like he had been in the military. He had blue eyes and white skin. Together they figured they could last a few days alone. Bob was the one searching for food and fresh water. So far he had hardly found anything. Mark was in charge of building them a hut, and getting a signal in case a plane came overhead. They hoped that a plane would be there soon, so they could get off the island. They needed to be prepared for anything, including a plane flying overhead. If they missed a single plane it could mean the difference between their #life and death! "Hey Bob, for the signal I'm going to make a fire. We can also use it for heat, scaring off animals,an" "I don't care just do it!" Yelled Bob, who was getting annoyed. He didn't care for facts, just results. "Ok ok, I'll do it, just stop yelling. I thought you might like to know what saved your #life, but if you don't that's not my problem" responded Mark sounding a bit hurt. Mark knew he needed 3 things to make a fire. Wood in small pieces, and 2 flint rocks. Knowing this he set out into a Forrest that they had seen, but not went in for fear of getting lost. "I'm going to get stuff to make a fire, if you care that I'm even going," yelled Mark as he walked towards the forest. "Alright, just don't come crying to me if you don't find anything!" Bob replied. When Mark arrived in the forest he looked around and saw lots of small game, like mice and squirrels, and redwoods as tall as skyscrapers, so tall that he couldn't see the top of them! He wandered around for a while just admiring the sheer beauty of it all. It was so much for him to take in at once and he didn't want to leave. The squirrels were running up and down the trees freely, and the trees looks so good that for a few seconds Mark forgot about being stranded and felt as if he was on a long vacation. The scenery was so relaxing. Mark had been up all night thinking about the shipwreck. Now all he wanted to do was sleep. "Wait a minute, the shipwreck!" He remembered what he had come to this beautiful forest to do. He needed to collect some wood and flint rock. He looked around and picked up a lot of twigs. "I can come back for the flint" Mark thought. He waked back to the campsite his arms aching from the load of flint he was carrying. "Might as well hum to keep up the good mood" Mark thought out loud. While he was walking back he didn't notice the small and silent plane flying overhead until it had already left. It was heading to the other side of the island. "Why didn't it pick me up?" Thought Mark. "Maybe they didn't see me" Mark realized. "I'll just have to go to them after I give Bob the rocks." He sped up his walk, eager to tell Bob the good news. "I'm back Bob!" Yelled Mark eagerly. "Did you find a way off the island?" Bob said sarcastically. "Actually I did!" Mark said triumphantly. "I saw a plane land on the other half of the island!" Mark explained. "What!?" Screamed Bob excitedly. "Let's go" said Mark. They ran to the woods so fast that if they were in a car it would almost hold them back. They entered and Bob gasped as he saw the Forrest. "It's amazing!"Bob said excitedly. "This should be a tourist spot!" "But then it would be overrun with hotels until it isn't nice anymore" Mark replied softly. They kept moving in the direction of the plane. As they got closer Mark started to notice less wild#life around. Suddenly they heard a loud"BANG!" from around where the plane was. It was the bang of a gunshot.
