THE BOYS POINT OF VIEW. School in ancient Athens is great. We learn the subjects of the following: math, poetry, music and singing. I get up very early in the morning to go to school. I enjoy school very much but my sister doesn't because she doesn't go. Only boys are allowed to go to school. Only rich boys go to school if you are not you don't. LEARNING TO WRITE I have been going to school since I was 7 years old. We have been taught the greek alphabet. We don't have books to write in instead we have wax tablets.We write on this with a sharp metal pen. the pen is hard to use because we have to push it through tough waxxxxxxx! MY SISTERS POINT OF VIEW My sister doesn't like me going to school because she think that she should get an education too. Instead of going to school, I do housework and learn how to weave, sew and cook. I do this with my Mum. My brother goes to school in the morning, very early but I'm glad in some ways that I don't go to school because I get to stay in bed a little longer! My brother does work on his wax tablet but he says it is quite hard to write with. He then does Mathematics, poetry and music. He has been going to school since he was 7 years old and continue until he is 15. After he finishes schooling, he may spend a year in the Army but if the family is richer then he might go to the sports academy. MY VERY FORTUNATE BROTHER!!!!!!!!!
