Slender Pt 3: Boundaries I ran. And ran. And ran. Never daring to look back, I sprinted hard, never intending to stop. Seconds went by. Seconds turned into minutes. Minutes turned into... who knows how long... until a barbed wire fence halted me in my tracks. Slowly I looked behind me. No one was there. Gasping for breath, clutching my heart. They appeared to be competing, my breath & heart, which one could be the fastest. But eventually they slowed down into a gentle jog. My mind never stopped whirling though. I was terrified of the... that thing. Thrusting disturbing thoughts from my head, I walked along the boundary to the left. I came out of the copse & into an empty field of long grass. I still dared not look behind me. In front of me was a notice board, on which notes & a huge map were pinned up. Studying the map, I appeared to be on the north of some park which was roughly diamond or tear-shaped, split into five sections. I looked at the notes around it: "Children go missing in local country park!"; "Sightings of mysterious 'Slenderman' caught on camera!" & a note similar to the one in my pocket, but this time... "DON'T LOOK OR IT TAKES YOU".
