Um okay so story wise, how many words would be okay per segment? I mean I can't just upload the whole thing, it's already over 4000 words, but I was thinking that if I upload it in little segments then it'll be easier to read, so I was wonder how many words would be advisable. Because I don't want it to be too long, but I don't want it to be too short so I was just wondering. Thanks xxxx

It doesn't quite matter how many words, it only has to be split up in places that make sense really. But like 200-400ish idek the only story I ever wrote was a failure 😋.

Personally if a story is more than 3 pages on here I don't tend to read it but I'm not sure how many words that is sorry 😏😘

@JackBrown jack my brain freezes after 5 pages but you could break the story at a moment that is interesting so it keeps people waiting for the next instalment and you could number each of them like chapters ? 💥💥🚶

It depends on the high points in the story and the break points 😊 cliff hangers are good, so those can be good places to stop 💗💗

I agree with all the points above 👆☺ I think 500 words should be where to aim at (at the max); but still keep in mind where your plot points/cliffhangers are and ensure you leave it at that point so readers come back to read more. 😉 I'll always read more pages when it's a story, but I tend to bookmark it to read when I have more time to read it (I'm a slow reader compared to most people on here 😁 so I know my limitation lol). Looking forward to your story now. ☺✨

Hey Jack! Yeah I agree with everyone above. Personally I don't usually read the long stories unless they leave me wondering what is going to happen next. So I guess cliffhangers are really good to end with. Anyway can't wait to read about this bioshock thing story. (Sorry I don't really know what that is.)
