Chapter Two [Backstage] I walked to the theater with Nick talking and laughing. Then Elena came up and kissed Nick. I ran into the theater and went backstage to get on make up and costume. They curled my hair a little bit and made it look a little frizzy. I slid on some baby lips and dark brown eyeshadow. I turned when I heard the door open and Elena walked in. Her her was golden and perfectly curled. She had porcelain colored skin, soft pink lips, and the perfect long eyelashes. I looked in the mirror and I looked terrible compared to her. She was wearing a puffy pink dress that was silky smooth and angel looking. I looked down and waited for my turn onstage. It was time for On My Own. I began to sing and turned really quick to see Nick and Elena kissing each other. That's when my eyes began to pour tears out. Then I belted out loud "All my #life, I've only been pretendiiiiiing!" Then I feel Nick looking at me. Elena's not there though. "I love him..." I sing then turn to Nick. "I love him." Then I turned to the empty room. "But only on...my own..." The lights went out and I walked off stage trying to avoid Nick.
