Radioactive Chapter Two I wake up cold and I look around the tent and start to get bathed in the wash tub. I dried off and put on my clothes tying my boots on. I walked outside and grabbed a bowl of oatmeal and sat alone at the fire. Eating the oatmeal then feeling that I needed to kill someone. Everyone has that instinct though, well, at least now. Marie walked out with Steven. "Serephima, today's the day we have to go in battle. So, I need you to get ready." She to told me then looked at Steven "You too. Go get prepared." He nodded and went back in the tent. "This war is stupid. Fighting because the rulers are so stupid trying to kill us before even living." Marie stayed silent. I looked at her "This war is stupid, right?" Marie looked at me and told me again "Go get prepared." I got up and ran to my tent looking through the teen boys bag because I hadn't had enough time to. I opened it and found a full water bottle, a slingshot, and a rolled up blanket. I grabbed my bigger backpack and combined everything together in it. You can say its unfair of all the survival things I have, I just get lucky and get to kill the ones with useful stuff. I threw on my jacket then flung my back pack over my shoulder and pulled out a katana from my belt and ran outside to see Steven waiting. He was holding his bow and the arrows were in his bag pocket. Marie told us good luck and clicked us out onto the war grounds. There were thirty fighters. The clock was ticking. Five.four.three.two.one.zero. Right on zero I stabbed a man and slit the throat of the girl who tried to find me when I was in the tree. One teenage boy pinned me down and held the tip of a knife close to me throat. He poked a little hole in the side of my neck causing me to wince in pain. Steven saw what was happening and picked him. He punched him then snapped his neck. He helped me up and we ran into the forest straight towards the hidden cave we used to play in when we were kids. We crawled to the top of the high rocks and slid down rope we set up and laid in the sand. "We have to leave and go kill the rest of them before they find us,Steven." I quickly ran to the small waterfall inside and washed the blood off of my hands. Steven nodded and replied "I know but we have to stay here for tonight. It's to risky to go out all night trying to kill the rest of them." I laid down taking my jacket off since its always been way too hot in that cave. I rested my head on my wadded up jacket and fell asleep.
