@blindsilence @rainbowlizard @JessieJxxx Besides, aerobic respiration involving C^6H^12O^6 (glucose) needs oxygen so that our cells have energy. If anaerobic respiration were to be used, we would only get short bursts of high energy, like through beta cells and decreasing glycolysis.
