Free Verse For Class 2/3 The assignment was a free verse about peace. The day you can forgive And truly be forgiven When you can converse Without a fist, just with voice The day you look up And say, 'It's not so bad' The day you know Your soul can be free, Forgiven, blessed, Independent The day you see what is important And what you can live without The day you look death in the eyes And turn the other way One that day, You have truly found peace.
