5 Writing Rules 1) DON'T BE BORING. You needn't use long words and big paragraphs to seem more clever or mature. People will accept you more if they can easily understand your writing. 2) BE A CRITIC. Read your work as many times as you need to check it works. Do your words flow? Can you understand it? If needed, ask someone to check it for you. 3) TRENDS AREN'T IMPORTANT. Erotica is the trend at the moment, but if it's not your style, don't write it. You will be loved for good writing, not theme. 4) READ. Reading will help you get an idea of how to create a good piece of writing. It will also help you with literacy. 5) ENJOY IT. If you don't enjoy what you're doing, you're not going to succeed.
