The Curious Problem of the First Post First posts are always the hardest. You never know what to write and whatever you do write automatically makes you sound like a complete knob. There is no cool way to do a first post, and believe me I've tried to write them enough times to know. You can either go for the pre-teen diary approach and talk about yourself and your #life for a page or two (the problems start when you realise no one actually cares) or you just burst straight in to your blog and that, in my opinion, is just rude. So I am going for the third option - warble on for a bit and hope to hell that no one reads this far. That's right. There was no rhyme nor reason for that entire idiotic starter paragraph. The good thing about first posts it that, to be honest, no one reads them. Well not past the first line anyway. If you have read this far then well done. You are one special snowflake indeed. Anyway, the whole point I started this whole meandering blog post was to say 'Hello!' and to tell you really what you can expect (if anything) from this blog of mine. The problem is I'm not really sure what I'm going to write about. Expect a lot of politics and plenty of film reviews. Expect a rant at least every 28(ish) days. And expect useless random works of fiction that really in the long run end up no where. What can I say, I have high hopes.
