Ungrateful As the faces stare back Eyes drown me with sorrow Tears down their faces Hoping for a better tomorrow I complain about new clothes When they have none on their backs I complain about an ugly pants While one kid is wishing for slacks We complain about parents From the start they were alone We complain about family time When they haven't got a home We complain about schools and teacher For them there was no one gentle Boys and girls here hate doing work While one kid there begs for a pencil We don't talk to random people While they have no room to be hateful They try to live #life to the fullest While we live #life ungrateful
