Grew up poor in projects of Pittsburgh Pa,during years of the riots.Vietnom was over we never recieved our POW\'s back,due to Americas failure to follow threw.With Ganiva Convention treaty in Paris France.One day while playing outside,across the street.There was the sound of police sirens,car tires screeching.thay turned into the main parking lot.Gunfire startedit lasted a while i was near the parking lot.when it was over two cops were walking a bleck man holding him up.Heading twards the street ergently,shot between the eyes.The cort just before the street thay layed him down,he died.A old black man came outside after ambulance took away dead man.He hocked up a garden hose started squirting away the blood.I began talking to the man,as i looked up,tears running down his face silently.We moved away to a place called Mt Washington overlooking Pittsburgh.I never knew there were this many white people around,in my littel world.Some white people were mean too i found out.I didn\'t like this new school as thay passed me from one grade to the next,l was falling behind,no one cared.The outsider grew into a young man and i dropped out of school after 8th grade.Forced to go to 9th grade and sent evry morning to school South Hills High.In the front door out the back door,security guard was a big bald asshole we called him\"Kojack\".Well mom got in trouble,nobody could controll me,now i was officaly out of school.Worked in fast foods and became a drinker of beer selling dope\"Maryjane\"until 17.Joined the Army with help from my big brothrt,still 17 and had my 18th birthday in bootcamp.The \"Goverment\"was trying to start up a new kind of professional army.I became a dam good solder,became stronger than i ever thought i could\"Charly Co 7th battalion 2nd bregade\".
