The Sea's Sweet Slumber
It's dark, yet a chill and spray from the sea before me lights up my eyes. It beckons me. I walk down. Past the sun loungers, away from the restaurants. The sand tickles my toes, it's uneven surface massaging my feet. I go and sit a few metres away from the ocean, the crashing waves, our #life source, the substance which makes up our body. The sea which devastates and destroys yet pleases and saves at the same time. Controlled by Mother Nature who is wild and free. The foamy waves remind me of white horses, wild powerful and free, galloping, no rules or restrictions; they are all I ever want to be. I sit, watching, thinking, listening, admiring. The waves may be all of the above and more, yet I find amusement in them falling clumsily onto the sand and tripping onto the rocks. Their music making me dream of sweet slumber.
