Been away for years,
but can't find any of my peers!!
Everything seems so displaced,
so I hope these words don't go to waste.

Battling through uncertainty once more
to an unfamiliar look at my door.

I hope to reconnect to many of you once again,
and dance and laugh in the rain.

In A Friend We Trust

A friend for #life,
that sometimes get me in strife,
but we will stick together like
a bird and a feather.

We walk side by side
and that is a must,
for it is you that I
will forever trust.

Running up the highest hill
this test in time we need to
keep still.
You get there it must be said,
to make sure there is no danger
ahead.

Those loving eyes that stare into mine,
it's unconditional and must be a sign.
I know your age plus seven,
you must be a gift from Heaven.

When it's time your soul breaks from
me, will my heart go on as wide as the sea.
In time I will lick my sores,
as I will always cherish your muddy paws.
