The Isolated Kitten The scary journey One day there was a kitten called Sally. Sally had piercing blue eyes and was a ball of white snow she loved to play and was very mischievous but now she was all alone. Sally had lived in Antartica with her family who were previously killed by a bunch of dogs. She was saved by a passing snowball that caught her as she ran from the attack. She now lives all alone with no family, shelter or food and as the days go by she grows lonelier and lonelier. Her only dream was to get to see her family anytime anywhere again to feel her mothers soft fur at night and play with her brothers and sisters to feel safe . One bitter cold icy morning Sally peered out from behind the freshly fallen snow she was afraid everywhere she looked was a white carpet of snow which seemed to stretch as far as could be. She was hungry and her little body was no longer able to protect her from the harsh weather. When everything seemed hopeless Sally heard a distant purr purr purr .....ears pricked up what could it be Sally held her head as high as it would allow her and listened carefully,the 'purring' became increasingly closer and louder when suddenly it stopped but it was more like a roar now the hungry loud roar of a snow leopard ........ CHAPTER 2 Sally gets a new mum. Sally's body was shivering. From the subzero temperature and the terrible fear that swept through her tiny body the snow leopards mouth slowly opened to reveal razor sharp teeth and her warm breath felt like a burning fire from which there was no escape Sally closed her eyes as darkness surrounded her tiny body she felt herself slowly slip away. As Sally awoke she felt warm and safe almost like her mother made her feel and for a moment she had forgotten where she was and what had happened.As Sally turned to run she saw the kindness in her eyes .The snow leopard smiled softly and said don't be afraid little one I won't hurt you . Sally new she could trust her. Sally had told her every last bit of what happened to her parents as she was in tears true out telling the story.The leopard wiped away the tear that trickled down her neck with her soft gentle paw . Sally was very surprised that the leopard had lost Cubs too.The following weeks they played non stop with each other and became very close. And Sally finally felt like she had a family once again just like always finally everything in Sally's #life was starting to feel normal. TSally s body was shiver
