Fat Cat Gus was a fat cat. Gus (or Augustus) wasn't even his full name-Augustus Tubbus Maximus was, and he belonged to some VERY posh people who believed in VERY posh names and a VERY posh #lifestyle. So they named a cat with 3 names. Gus hated them all-especially Maximus. That's such a dog name! All the other cats were called Fluffy or Mittens or Tabby, but try finding a cat called Augustus! So Gus decided to march right out of his home and go and live somewhere else with a new name and a new #life...! After breakfast... So now he had had breakfast, Gus walked right out of the cat flap and searched for a new #life... ...But he got stuck in the cat flap. Gus wriggled and squiggled and twisted and turned and FINALLY got through! He first decided to go in next door's garden. He liked to tease the annoying puppy that lived there as he always bit his bum! Gus tried to jump up on the fence... ...And jumped INTO it... He decided to leave next door for later. Gus wanted to roam the streets! A couple of streets down there was a BIG dog called Titan. Gus didn't know about Titan-he also didn't know that Titan hated cats!!! AND GUS WAS HEADING STRAIGHT FOR TITAN'S STREET! Titan saw Gus. Gus saw Titan. And Gus ran faster than he had ever ran before. He had NEVER actually ran before! Titan chased Gus all the way back to his street. And Gus launched through the cat flap, wriggled and squiggled JUST making it through! I don't think Gus will be going on any more adventures, do you?
New New Year's Resolutions! I've already written something about the new year, but it was mainly about me. Let's talk about you and your new year. Was 2013 utterly terrible? Do you want to start fresh this year? Good on you. I salute you, good sir/madam. Do you want to lay off the chocolate this year? Come on... Don't lie to me. At least ONE of you reading this has had the 'stop eating choccies' resolution for at least 5 years. Isn't having the same resolution for 5 years kind of boring? I mean, new you and all... Not really a new you if you are trying to follow the same resolution is it? Nope. So, I want you to fill in these and put them in a separate post. Or you can just leave them in the comments. Up to you. 1. My resolution(s) is/are: 2. Have I had my resolution(s) for more than one year? (Yes/No answer) 3. Do I think it is time to have something more fun as my resolutions? 4. What are some things I want to do before I die? 5. Write these as resolutions (E.g go scuba diving) and see how many you can do! I just think this would be a nice thing to spread around. Tag it with #mynewnewyearsresolutions and i will read them and see which are the wackiest and coolest!
