The Halloween Party Pt. 3 I looked round and I could see the other side of the kitchen. I could also see my phone which I had dropped - it looked a million miles away. The room had started to get dark; the fire had gone out. This place seemed to be against me. I reached my phone just as the room went pitch black. I turned my phone on. I had apparently been in this strange place for 7 hours. It felt like 30 minutes. When time feels different to what it actually is your usually having fun. I can assure you I wasn't. A strange glimmer started to happen. It was like a small flame off a lighter had come on. I looked around and to my left I could see the glimmer approaching me. It was a rounded object with a hint of orange. I looked behind me. The shadow it portrayed still gives me nightmares today... Facts About The Tube The London Underground is the first urban underground railway. Otherwise known as Metro or Subway. 1.1 billion journeys are made on the Underground every year. This means that more people use the Underground than the rest of Great Britain's national rail network. Paris Metro and Moscow Metro are busier. The Underground has 250 miles of track. Shanghai Metro is the only other Metro system in the world to have more track. The Underground has 287 stations. Only the New York Subway and the Paris Metro have more. The London Underground is commonly known as "The Tube" this is because of the deeper lines having a near circular tunnel shape. The Metropolitan Line, Circle Line and parts of the Hammersmith & City Line aren't actually underground they were dug into the road and then covered up again. This way is called "Cut-and-cover". The London Underground may be called the London Underground but 55% of it is above ground. The London Underground was never properly planned but just sprawled under and over the city. Finally, the London Underground was built over a time of 140 years and is undergoing some major refurbishment and improvements for its future. The Halloween Party Pt. 2 I fell through the earth at what seemed slow at first, but it then got faster and faster as I got deeper and deeper. I began to slow down and I could make out these noises. Not words but mumbles. They weren't quiet mumbles either. They were as loud as someone screaming in your ear. The screams got louder and louder. The ground and the screams suddenly stopped. I was in this room that was set out like a kitchen but it had really old utensils and pots and pans. No Kenwood™, dishwasher, oven just a fire. A fire! Surely this room must be filling up with smoke so quickly I wouldn't be able to breathe in 30 seconds. I looked up and there was no smoke and no signs of heat from the fire on the ceiling. "This is really creepy. " I thought. I went and sat down by the fire. I had no idea what to do. I'd been following the messages Josh had sent me and I would have rung him if there had been signal. I suppose I should have thought that when I'm underground. "SMASH!" I looked round. On the floor behind me was a glass bottle which covered the floor in a carpet of green. I heard a scraping sound and looked at the table and saw that a jug of water was moving across the table towards me and the floor. "THWACK!" A meat clever just hung on the other side of the room it was a good job I'd moved my head forward to move the water. Something weird and dangerous was going on. The Halloween Party Pt.1 The world seemed to have been left behind. I'd been cycling for what seemed ages following the directions to this party that was taking place. My mate Josh had texted me the details this morning and I'd been following them for a long time and I was beginning to think I was lost. I turned a corner and then there was a massive surprise ready for me. The road seemed to just stop. There was just a sheer drop on the other side. No barrier just a cliff. I had never seen or read anything like this before. I looked down and saw a run down shack that had holes in the roof. It was so weird to think I had never seen this before. Come to think of it I'd never seen the road I'd just come down before. I cycle in this area a lot and I've never seen it. "This is weird" I say to myself looking down in the crater. "Indeed it is." I jumped. Someone or something was standing behind me. I daren't look round. Then I hear a loud wheeze. "Do you want marbles?" That was the code question that Josh mentioned. I guess he's one of the bouncers he talked about. "No thanks. Do you have any coffee though?" I replied wondering why Josh had gone to so much secrecy. There was a mumble from behind me which sounded like "Why do they have such silly answers?" The ground then shook and I felt myself go down in the ground. Supply Teachers Supply teachers are funny peoples, Some our small and others are as tall as steeples, Some are fat but prefer large, Others skinny and don't replicate a barge, A few wobble, Most are 'orrib'l, And they all worship silence, And couldn't give a damn about science, They like chatting to fellow supply teachers, Cause they're all Facebookers and Twitterers, They love making students lives a misery, I guess its cause they din't have a good time at nursery, Some are dumb most are clever, Some are pleased when they work out how to use a lever!
