I have five messages to send
I wonder if he's on Facebook
He was my only online friend

We never really talked much
In fact we never talked at all
His friend list said 10 million
And I had none at all

It was a lovely sunny day today
But yet you could not hear a sound
The high street was a ghost town
All in lockdown, gone to ground

The schools are shut and shops are empty
But the hospitals are heaving
Full to the brim of helpless souls
Always coughing, sometimes sneezing

Rust Machine

I think my car is haunted
It has a mind all of its own
Sometimes it lets me take it out
But most times it stays home

I fill it up with petrol
And I wash it every week
I check its oil and water level
And make sure it doesn't leak

But still it doesn't want to start
A flashing light says 'engine warning'
My car is quite consistent though
It's every fucking morning

It does have air conditioning
But its gas went up in smoke
My car is from the 80's
And it's got a manual choke

There's rust on every panel
I think my rust is getting rust
Will it start tomorrow?
Of course it will (I trust)

Dear Mr Johnson

I think we should invade Poland
And then take the Germans on
We could send our nukes to Russia 🇷🇺
What could possibly go wrong?
We could wipe out France and Belgium
Then attack the USA
Don’t worry about Scotland
We could beat them in a day
Let’s wage war across the continent
And make the world bow to our tune
And once we’ve conquered everywhere
Put our flag down on the moon
