My Engine It was then and there, the time stopped, people around me frozen. Me still moving, just as normal. Then suddenly, it all happened, the thing that changed my #life. Now I'm incomplete, literally. People listening watching, not doing anything. I closed my eyes, then oped again, but I wasn't in the same place. All blurry and the sound muffed. People leaning over, and the gentle beep in the background. As I came back to real #life, a fat woman waddled over to me. She said "ahh here she is, everything all right I hope? You must be wondering what happened, yes? Well you were hit by a bus, now the sad news is you are paralysed hip down," Then I slowly drifted back to sleep. I woke up again, fully aware of what had happened, and where I was. I pressed the button signalling the nurse, a few seconds later the fat nurse came waddling back in. "excuse me, I do rather need the loo exactl," "ahh I thought you'd ask," she interrupted, "just swing your legs over, there we go, well done! Then you just wheel yourself over there, call if you have any trouble" It was hard, hard to get used to. Upsetting at the most, my friends and family helped though. I woke up one morning needing the loo, so I swung back the covers and lifted my leg up, but somehow my leg managed to do this on its own, no wheelchair either. A mystery I've never discovered, you think?
