Hats And Shoes I waded into my cousin Sarah's pond. She was splashing and kicking me. "Sarah, quit it," I said. "Opal! Watch out!" Sarah pointed behind me. Misty, Sarah's lab, jumped in right about where I was. "Ugh!" I yelled, shaking water off me. "Sarah, I'm done here." I waded back to dry land when I heard screaming! "Opal! Help m......" I turned around, just in time to see a little six-year-old's hand flailing around, before going under. I dived under, but Sarah was nowhere to be seen. I thought about what I would say to her mom. Just then, "Opal! Where's Sarah?" Mrs. Tillkies walked out. "Um, she, uh, er, ah...." I shrugged. Mrs. Tillkies eyes got big and round. "No!" "What is it?" my mom, Mrs. Redds walked out. Next, I saw a little boy come. His name was Sean. Sean White. "Heat hot. Can I get in?" he stuck his foot in the pond. Sarah, I thought. What happened? "Miss, can I get in?" Sean tapped on me. "Uh, no, not right now." I patted him. "Why not?" Sean asked, keeping at his habit of asking millions of questions. "What happened?" Mrs. Redds asked. "Opal didn't save me," Sarah said, coming out of the water. "What? I... Uh... You... Ahh!" I said, running off. Everyone had a strange look on their face, for the strange events that had just taken place.
Tripocylip Chapter 1 Cody was a complete scientist. He experimented with his every free moment. Whether it was when the batter was getting ready to hit the ball, or at his little sister Janie's tea party, anywhere. But sometimes, he came up with an idea in his "Science Lab" (his room) and it caused an explosion worth an hour's cleaning up. "Mom!" He yelled when he made a mess because he didn't want to clean it up, but she always said "No. You make it, you clean it." He was at the point where he didn't even know why he asked anymore. "Cody! C'mere!" Mom yelled. "What is it?" Cody skipped down the stairs. "School starts in two days. We meet your teacher, Mrs. Hyatt, tomorrow. Janie!" "Aw," Cody knew that meant no more experimenting. "What?" Janie came into the room. "Janie, guess what! Your first day of first grade starts tomorrow!" Later that night, as Cody lay in bed trying to fall asleep, dreading meeting Mrs. Hyatt (her name rhymed with riot - that can't be a good sign) Note: This is only a part of what I have written; as I will write more over time. Thanks! I'll load a new one every few days.... Maybe.....
