The Race They always told me "#life is a race So hurry your pace Because the faster it's done The best is your place" That's what I always heard So that's what I always did. One day as I was feeling exhaust I sat down on a park bench for a moment to rest. I asked to the old man sitting next to me "What are we all running for? What is it that is waiting for us in the end of this race?" The old man looked at me with sadness, "Oh son... People run and try to hurry time... But they forget, they ignore that in the end, death is what is waiting for us, not glory, no applauses, no golden prize... Only death!"
