The Powers Cont Adam got there right in time. As I laid in the lake that was now a puddle I looked at my surroundings. Were there had been such beauty minutes before, there was ash. In a huge circle around me there was nothing but ash and burning trees. Ella was walking around putting out various trees. Adam walked over to me and pulled me out of the lake onto were the beach once was. I sat there dazed and extremely confused wondering how this gift I thought I had, had become a curse. I stared as little Amber walked around bringing trees back to #life and as Eli started filling up the lake again. "now we have to move again. Why can't these fuck heads just leave us alone" said Adam. I reached over an zapped his leg. "what the Fu-" he began to say before I zapped him a second time. "Amber and Eli don't need to hear your potty mouth." I told him. "now help me up." I ordered. He reached down and pulled me to my feet. I bent over to catch my breath when someone shoved a change of clothes in my face. I looked up to see Ella looking away from me. She was blushing so bad she looked like an over rip tomato. I glanced down and for the first time noticed that I was completely naked. "you act like you've never seen him naked before little Annabella." Adam roared laughing his ass off. We both stared at him in utter shock. How had he found out about us? I thought to myself, we were completely secretive and even though we shared a room, I never let on that I had been visiting her in the wee hours of the night. I saw that Ella had the same look of bewilderment written all over her face. "You can't keep secrets with a telepath in the house." Adam yelled as he walked over to check the lake. I quickly ran to the van and began pulling on my clothes. "I sincerely apologize Jude I wasn't aware you had wanted to keep your love a secret" said a squeaky little voice behind me. I turned and saw Penny holding an italian for dummy's book in her hand. I thought for a second how it would be to know so much and be so smart. I mean the girl was 4 and knew 17 different languages fluently. It wasn't that she was smart really, thou she did have an IQ in the quadruple digits, it was that her brain(she estimates) was working at it's full capacity. I was tempted to yell at her but even though she was one of the smartest people in the world, she was still four. "It's ok." i said jumping into the drivers seat and starting the car with my finger tips. "do me a favor sweetie?" I asked leaning back in my seat. "Sure Judas, whatever you ask." she said still reading her book. "Tell the others that its good enough and that we can go now." I said rummaging through the glove compartment and pulling out a new pack of Lucky Strikes. I then set my self on looking for a lighter in the dash when Ella lit a flame in her palms for me. All the kids started piling in the van when I looked back. Ella was sitting in the front seat and Adam was sitting in the seat right behind her. Then Amber climbed in an sat next to Penny helping her learn along. Then Eli climbed in and sat behind me. "you know" Ella said as I pulled out of the park and started winding down a road. " that crap will give you cancer" Adam was reaching for the pack and pulling out a lighter when Eli pulled out his own pack. I looked back at him questioningly. "Where'd you get that from little cancer patient?" I asked chuckling under my breath. "I bought it for him, we started smoking when we were fifteen so I thought you wouldn't mind but he is your brother so...." Adam said rolling down his window and lighting his cigarette. "Whatever. It's his #life he's gonna through down the drain." I said taking a drag of my cigarette. Ella reached over and took one from my pack. "cancer huh?" I said laughing. When we got home the rest of the kids were sleeping so we had to wake them up. As I was walking from room to room Ella came from behind me and grabbed my hand. "What are we going to do Jude?"she asked as I opened the first door on my left. "Up and at um boys, we need to evacuate." I said. I proceeded to close the door not wanting to hear the moans of the boys. " I think were going to have to go to the academy for a while. Get finances in order. Maybe some of the kids will want to stay and live there a while." I said hopefully. Don't get me wrong, I love each and everyone of these kids to death but 15 kids being raised by 3 17 year olds isn't the cushy #life. (that's all I'm up for now might post more latter please tell me why you think in a comment and I'm open to ideas.)

The Powers Intor to a story im writing just thought id post it. I woke up abruptly from my relatively pleasant dream. By relatively pleasant I mean it wasn't a nightmare. Three cloaked figures stood above my bed pistols in hand, one reached down and pulled me by my hair, with unnatural strength he lifted me off my bed until I was eye level with the three unusually tall men. The man didn't see the bolts of lightning moving through my fingers, he also didn't see the gun under my pillow slide out and position itself next to his head. "I suggest you put him down or you might end up with a brain slushy." Said a voice from my bedroom door. Standing with his hands raised was Adam. He was sweating bullets. Soaked in just his sweats he looked like he just got back from an Olympic event. With the body of a Greek god he didn't look like a force you wanted to recon with. 7'3 and built like a linebacker he was a scary sight. The two men on the sides of me pointed there pistols at Adam and the one holding my hair through me into the wall. The pistol went off with a loud bang, then came the sickening thud of a body hitting the floor. I looked up a little dazed after hitting the wall and saw as if in slow motion the two men pulling the triggers on there pistols. I closed my eyes. Sparks shot out of my whole body encompassing the half of the room me and the two thugs were in. The two men didn't even have the chance to scream. There was no thud as there bodies hit the ground, I reckon there wasn't any bodies to hit the ground. I opened my eyes and saw my room. The wall were scorched and the bed was on fire, all the papers that where on my desk had been turned to ash along with the desk itself. The places where the men had been where replaced with statues of ash that spilt all over the ground. Ella came in and noticing the bed she quickly raised her hands and the flames sputtered out. "Jude did you have another bad dream or something?" She asked, her tone mocking. She was wearing a tank top and a pair of pajama bottoms. "No as a matter of fact Judy was getting thrown around like a rag doll before I came to save the day." Adam said with a broad smile across his face. Ella quickly rushed to my side all mock attitude draining out of her face. "Are you ok?" She said, concern covering her face. She looked gorgeous, her beautiful clear blue eyes twinkling. "I'm-" I began to say but sparks jumped from the top of my mouth across. I got up and ran past Adam to the bathroom across the hall. Pulling the door open i ignored Eli's please for some damn privacy and looked in the mirror. My eyes usually a dark green where glowing irridesintly. The iris's casting a beam of light into the mirror. I slammed out of the bathroom down the hall, taking the steps of our stars two at a time. I pulled the door open. "Crap" I heard Adam say right behind me. Stumbling onto the front lawn of our suburban home I fell to my knees. "Adam you know what to do." I said looking into his eyes. "I cant do it J I almost missed last time." He said looking down. "Hurry there's not much time...please" I said "No we cant risk you getting hurt you know what Doc said, please we'll be fine you wont hurt us." he said looking back into the house. "What about the people who live here. They can just die. Innocent people." I said. "Please I believe in you." Blue streams of electricity flew to the street light in front of our house popping the bulb. "No we cant risk it." Adam said turning around. "Dammed it Adam hurry..." I said. "Fine meet me there in 30 minutes." I took off down the street, aiming my hands at the pavement in front of me, I created a slide and shot forward at neck breaking speeds. Street lights went out as I passed them, popping with loud bangs. I turned as I slid in front of the park, barrel rolling to a stop. The ground around me set on fire and I looked at the electricity on my arms. Orange. I didn't have much longer until I leveled the whole town. I looked up into the sky and hoped to god I would make it. I kicked off of the ground and focused most of my power into my feet, launching me at least eight hundred feet into the air in a matter of seconds. Trees ripped out of the ground and the metal of the playground melted into puddles the park benches flew out of the ground and caught fire. The Lake was approaching fast as I flew threw the air. I landed in the water with a loud smack. Pain shot threw my body but i fought it back and swam to the bottom of the Lake. As I touched the bottom I stopped. Around me the water was boiling and reflecting back red. I had to let all the energy go before I exploded. I went super nova.
