Death By A Sword CHAPTER ONE The Beastling Woman The gate lifted up, making a loud creaking screech. The chains pulling it up began to weaken over the weight of the metallic frame. Two clumsy knights lurched out the long corridor. One knight was hideously ugly under a silver mask. The other one was drunk, fat, and had a bottle of rum in his hand. They were sent out to talk to the tribe waiting in long cloaks made of wolf fur. The ugly knight walked to them. “What in the deepest depths of the devil's land brings you here, outlaws?" the knight said, overly confident. A woman stepped forward.“We're the beastlings, a tribe from the west. We came here to talk to the Council."The fat knight bursted out laughing “The Council doesn't talk to just any body!" He laughed once more. The woman took this as a threat, pulling out a sluggish wooden dagger and held it against the fat knight's throat. She scoffed, turning her head. “Bring me to the Council, or the fat one dies." Both of the knight's did not actually experience war, and they were both very selfish. “Fine. Kill the bastard, I don't care." The woman quickly thought of something, then realized she had counterfeit gold.“Bartholomew. Bring me my gold." She turned to grab her fake money, pulling her dagger from the fat knight's throat. “Now, boys?" She said while shaking the bag. The ugly knight Fable, grabbed the money from her hands.

Last Light (Prolouge) 10 troopers died, dead from bombs. Arica and Gizmo had temporary deafness, from 2 bombs thrown in the rubble. The fort blew up, killing most of the slaves, as the others ran away. There were still 26 Japanese soldiers hiding behind big rocks. The Japanese soldiers were unaware that there were still a few soldiers alive. Until, Gizmo, stepped on broken glass. The Japanese soldiers were alerted, causing the the soldiers to throw their last flashbang. Gizmo and the rest of his troop were blind now, all three of them shot to death. Arica didn't know this, running away limping across the mud. Her ankle was twisted, eye swollen shut, caused from the rubble that hit her, trigging painful blindness. She ran in the mist, not able to be seen. Her sight came back to her. She eyed a collapsed building. The building was bordered up, seeing many dead troopers. She saw a misty shadow in the ruins of the remained building. She thought the shadow was a person, and limped across the dirt. With all her might, she blasted at the planks covering the door. "Son of a... What the heck was that?" The voice grabbed a gun, and stood up.
